Hilarious “Adults Only” Magic Show Coming To Columbus To Raise Funds For GUARDIANS OF THE CHILDREN

COLUMBUS, NEBRASKA – Part magician, part comedian, and totally dysfunctional, Nathan Tricky Allen will be bringing his acclaimed “adults only” blend of magic and comedy to O’Borny’s Husker Bar on Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th.

The performances will be held to raise funds for the Heartland chapter of Guardians of the Children, whose mission is to recognize and react to child abuse and educate the public to do the same; to serve as advocates to provide strength and stability to families in crisis; and be an answer to the prayer of an abused child or teen for courage, support, and protection.

Even though the purpose of this event is a very noble cause to help very serious situations, the entertainment promises to be a blast, filled with laughs.

You see, although Nathan Tricky Allen is a magician… don’t be fooled – you will see NO tuxedo and NO sparkly boxes in this show. Instead, Nathan combines sleight-of-hand magic, stand-up comedy, dangerous tricks, stupid stunts, immature pranks, and hilarious (and unpredictable) audience interaction into one of the very few magic shows in the entire country that is both geared for adults AND funny.

With over 20 years of professional on-stage experience, the best trick up Nathan’s sleeve is his ability to connect with a crowd, and it’s a trick he can pull off whether he is at a comedy club, a biker bar, or a Fortune 500 corporate event – each of which regularly give him standing ovations.

Known for being naughty and tons of fun, without being gross or offensive, Nathan’s personality-driven performances have been described as “One of the funniest magic shows EVER!” (Happenings Magazine; Kenosha, WI), “Star entertainment!” (Inside Magic; Los Angeles, CA), and “A laugh-filled night with a wild and edgy magician!” (Seattle Performs; Seattle).

The International Brotherhood of Magicians presented Nathan with the Justo Hijo Magic Award, based on skill, originality, and entertainment value. He has performed at private parties for heads of state, has appeared on NBC, ABC, The CW, PBS, and TV3 (Europe), and he has been invited to entertain at special events across America for 3M, Budweiser, Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Wal-Mart, and Facebook, to name just a few.

And yet, in a typical example of his priorities, he insists that he is most proud of being elected Class Clown.

The March 25 + 26 performances will be Nathan’s full hour-long headlining show – the same performance that has been seen at comedy clubs and corporate events nationwide. Show-time is 8:00 PM each night. Tickets are $15/person. There is a “Dinner + Show” option also available, for $50 total per couple (doors open at 6:00PM each night, with dinner being served at 6:30 if you choose that option). For ticket info, call 402-276-2042.

In addition to dinner and the comedy/magic show, there will also be LIVE MUSIC following Nathan’s performance, “Two Grumpy Old Men.”
